The kit contains a book Kayla Travels in Her Dreams, 6 figurines, 16 picture cards and a map. The picture cards, figurines and the map will help the child recreate the story and build their language and literacy skills in an engaging way.

Kyra Zeidan has helped many kids improve their language and literacy skills as a speech and language pathologist. Her passion for storytelling and desire to promote reading led to her first published book Kayla Travels in Her Dreams.
Kyra is honored to spread awareness on the talents and capabilities of neurodivergent people with the illustrations drawn by an artist on the Autism Spectrum Disorder.
As a mom of three, she has personally experienced the power of books and wants to support other parents in discovering the same. Kyra lives in Canada with her husband and 3 kids. You can read more about Kyra.

Musa was born in 1995 in Kuwait in a very loving and caring family. He was diagnosed with Autism at the age of four. He started talking around the age of seven. His artistic talent wouldn’t have gone unnoticed; he used to draw many shapes, buildings or characters with his fingers on the carpet.
At school, Musa was aided to diversify his drawing styles, use different drawing tools and different colors as he used to be fixed in his drawings and the colors he chooses.
Throughout his life, Musa has participated in many local and international drawing competitions and won a number of awards.
He recently collaborated with Kyra on his first children’s book illustration project which boosted his self esteem especially after having spent 2 years at home due to the pandemic.
He currently works as an Art Teacher’s Assistant at a school for Special Needs in Kuwait.
